Web accessibility refers to the ability of IT systems to provide services to people with temporary or permanent disabilities who use assistive technologies. It refers to inclusive practices aimed at removing barriers that prevent people with disabilities from interacting with or accessing websites.

The website of the Municipal Library “Abate Alano” of Fara in Sabina has been designed and developed in accordance with the WCAG 2.1 guidelines established by the WAI international standard of the W3C, in compliance with WCAG 2.1 accessibility requirements – Level AA.

The control points of the Technical Verification, as defined by Law No. 4 of January 9, 2004, “Provisions to Facilitate Access for Persons with Disabilities to IT Tools”, and its most recent update introduced by the Ministerial Decree of March 20, 2013 (Annex A), have been acknowledged and applied.
